Owing to the climate of the country, the fan industry in India is well established and has shown significant growth over the years. The industry grew at 11% CAGR from FY12 to FY17 and is slated to grow at the rate of 13% till FY22.

During the study period, ceiling fans are likely to grow the most, followed by domestic exhaust and industrial fans. Table, wall, and pedestal fans are likely to grow at a muted rate. IoT enabled fans and better aesthetics will be the main trends in the future. Standard and premium fans will show a higher growth than economy fans.
